DrNatura's Colonix vs. DrFlora's Ultimate Cleanse Kit

Welcome to my colon cleanse review blog!
I'm Deb and I have a super-busy life, which is part of the reason I decided to try colon cleansing. I found that I just didn't have the energy to keep up with my job and my family, and I was fatigued and just didn't feel good most of the time.

Colon cleansing can help with all of that. See, over time toxins build up in your body and this can leave you feeling tired, unhealthy, and generally rundown. A good colon cleanse will eliminate all of this toxic buildup, plus remove parasites and unhealthy bacteria, to leave you with more energy and improved health. If you've never done a colon cleanse, I would recommend that you seriously consider it.

If you are already considering doing a colon cleanse, it is important to choose a product that is going to work, that is safe, and that will be relatively easy to use, particularly if this is your first time. I've chosen to review two of the major competitors - DrNatura's Colonix & DrFlora's Ultimate Kit - on my site, to help you get a feel for what you should be looking for in a colon cleansing system. I'll give you a brief overview of each system, and then do a comparison between the two products.

DrNatura's Colonix
This colon cleansing system has three components: a purifying support, the actual colon cleanse, and a bowel regulator. The purifying step comes in capsules, while the intestinal cleanser is a powder drink mix, and the bowel regulator is a tea.

Although the main ingredient in the Colonix intestinal cleanser is psyllium fiber, there are over 40 different ingredients in this entire system, with at least 18 herbs found in the purifying capsules alone. Each component in this system is taken every day for 2-3 months. DrNatura's recommends taking the purifying capsules every morning with an intestinal cleansing shake, and drinking one cup of the bowel regulating tea every night before bed.

DrFlora's Ultimate Kit
This colon cleansing kit contains four separate components: a purifying support, the actual colon cleanse, parasite defense, and a bacteria replenishing formula. The purifying support, parasite defense, and bacteria replenisher are all in pill/capsule form, but the colon cleanse is a powder drink mix.

The main ingredient in DrFlora's colon cleanser is Psyllimax, which is a highly specialized, patent-pending blend of psyllium fibers that have been cut to specific sizes in order to best utilize their cleaning properties. However, there are less than 25 ingredients in the entire system, with each individual component containing less than 10 ingredients. DrFloras' recommends taking both the purifying support and parasite defense once a day, and taking 3 doses of the colon cleanser per day, for 15 days. Once you've completed the cleanse, you should take the bacteria replenishing agent for 15 days to help replace the healthy bacteria you lost during the cleanse.

Product Review: The Doctors Duke It Out!

Although the main ingredients in both colon cleansers is psyllium fiber, DrFloras' colon cleanser is made with the unique Psyllimax blend. Unlike formulas that use uncut fibers, Psyllimax has been scientifically developed and tested to ensure maximum results. Using state-of-the-art technology, the psyllium fibers are cut to exact sizes in order to thoroughly cleanse every nook and cranny of the colon while still being large enough to pass through the body easily and completely.

Also, DrFloras' Ultimate Cleanse Kit uses significantly fewer ingredients than DrNatura's Colonix, which means you are getting more of the actual cleansing agents and less "filler." The perfect example of this is the purifying support: how effective can DrNatura's product be when they are trying to fit 18 different herbs into a tiny capsule? There simply isn't room to receive beneficial amounts of these ingredients.

In addition, some of the ingredients in DrNatura's Colonix are highly questionable. For example, the bowel regulating tea included in their system is made with Senna. Physicians caution against taking senna for more than 7 days, as it can cause bowel dysfunction and constipation, but DrNatura's recommends using every component in the Colonix system every day for 90 days! Yet this is not the only instance of DrNatura's seeming blatant disregard for their customer's health; the labels on their individual products do not conform to FDA regulations. Please note, that herbal supplements (like colon cleansing systems) are not FDA approved the way pharmaceuticals are, but there are certain processing and handling guidelines that manufacturers should follow to ensure the safety of their products. Neglecting to follow the FDA guidelines regarding labeling implies that perhaps DrNatura's is not following other FDA regulations.

As if that weren't enough to prove DrFloras' superiority, DrFloras' Ultimate Kit is significantly faster and easier to use than DrNatura's Colonix. Although DrFloras' recommends a 30 day cleanse for first time users, regular users can do a complete cleanse in only 15 days. Most individuals who use DrNatura's Colonix do not even begin seeing results until the second month of use. Additionally, DrNatura's system has very specific, intensive instructions and a special diet that must be followed in order to get results - DrFloras' system is way more flexible and you do not have to change your diet in order to get measurable results.

DrFloras' system is also more comprehensive than DrNatura's. Although DrNatura's offers a bacteria replenishing agent, it is not included in their Colonix colon cleansing kit - DrFloras' includes this product and a parasite defense cleanse in their Ultimate Kit. (Personally, I do not see the point of doing a colon cleanse to remove toxins without also removing parasites.) Physicians say that we need certain types of bacteria in the colon to ensure a healthy digestive system. DrNatura's neglect in failing to include this component in their colon cleansing system merely demonstrates further their disregard for their customers' health.

On a side note, both companies offer online ordering and 24/7 customer service. However, DrFloras' offers a 365-day money back guarantee, where DrNatura's money back guarantee only lasts 60 days. According to their recommendations, you are supposed to take it for 90 days to get results!

Finally, the reviews for the two different products say a lot...
The reviews for DrFloras' Ultimate Cleanse Kit are absolutely glowing. Everyone who has tried this has had excellent results, including significant weight loss, increaased energy, improved health, and just "feeling better."
DrNatura's Colonix isn't receiving such good reviews. Most customers report difficulty using the system, as well as serious headaches, constipation, and weight gain - in short, people are experiencing an increase in the problems DrNatura's claims to solve.

Conclusively, DrFloras' is a superior colon cleansing system, through better ingredients, a more effective and user-friendly system, and a more complete system that is obviously designed with the customers' health and well-being in mind. Why waste time and money with DrNatura's Colonix, when DrFloras' Ultimate Cleanse Kit offers so much more?
